Former Super Eagles forward, Nnwankwo Kanu has broken silence on his attention towards the fourth coming 2023 general elections.
With Nigerians across the globe preparing for the general elections, there have been concerns among citizens on who the top personalities are supporting.
Though some individuals have come out to show their full support, some have failed to show where they stand.
In the case of Kanu, the former Arsenal forward has been accused of supporting a certain individual.
Kanu has now clarified the situation. Taking to his official Instagram account, Kanu urged Nigerians to vote their conscience.
He wrote on a video that saw his spoke about his plans for the 2023 elections:
Hello my country people. Do what is right and vote. Kindly stop spreading fake news in my name that I ask you to vote for anyone 😂 am not the one to choose who you will vote for so stop this rubbish with my name and go and get your PVC and vote Any media outlet or persons or group of persons that continue to use my name to spread fake news will be dealt with in the court of law. Let’s all be guided.
