Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Philips popularly known as Mama Rainbow has taken to social media to reveal the Lagos State best Governor in history.
Lagosians are currently preparing for the governorships election that will decide who will rule over them for the next four years.
With all candidates still currently on the street canvasing for votes, Iya Rainbow in a latest post on her official Instagram account revealed the best governor in Lagos State history.
According to the award-winning actress, only one Governor has the right to that throne and it’s not one other than Lattef Kayode Jakande.
Iya Rainbow listed all the achievement of Lateef Jakande, noting that he ensured everyone in the state got free education.
Sharing an old clip of elections being conducted in Lagos, Mama Rainbow wrote:
Peaceful election in 1979, Nigerians will never forget the best Governor in Lagos State alhaji lattef kayode jakande, Lagos never see a governor like him till date, am glad to be one of the beneficiary in 1980 free education, free health care, free text books, thank you alhaji lattef kayode jakande and his deputy alhaji rafiu jafojo, and tanks to a good leader a true politicians chief obafemi awolowo
